Your Main Responsibilities

Ensure the accurate and efficient processing of payroll, while supporting accounts payable and receivable functions, in compliance with internal procedures and month-end deadlines.

1. Payroll

  • Prepare and process payroll cycles.
  • Enter and verify hours worked, vacation, absences, and bonuses.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  • Produce Records of Employment (ROEs), T4s, and Relevé 1 slips.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and deductions.

2. Accounts Receivable

  • Issue customer invoices based on purchase orders or agreements.
  • Follow up on payments and perform collection activities for overdue accounts.
  • Apply received payments in the accounting system.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer records.

3. Accounts Payable

  • Process supplier invoices and credit notes.
  • Execute payments (cheque, EFT, bank transfer).
  • Sort and analyze the company’s credit card statement.
  • Reconcile payable approvals to ensure compliance.
  • Verify commission reports and enter data into the FinancePro system.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) or College Diploma (DEC) in Accounting or Administration (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency with computer tools, especially Excel and accounting software (FinancePro is an asset).
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Discretion and professionalism.
