My name is Romane, I'm a Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent, on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions.
I am looking for a Financial Analyst for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position in Saint-Pie, with a hybrid model.
Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts (ABL), including short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.
Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts, taking into account operational needs, investments, and financial obligations.
Actively participate in the monthly closing, in collaboration with the accounting team.
Review and validate bank reconciliations.
Contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial statements, in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Analyze revenue KPIs and follow up with the sales department.
Produce clear and relevant financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Participate in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Collaborate closely with other departments (sales, customer service, operations, procurement, etc.) to support strategic decisions. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and propose concrete and innovative solutions.
Contribute to the implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) to support financial and operational management.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. An accounting designation (CPA in progress or completed) is considered an asset.
2 to 4 years of accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent proficiency in Excel, accounting tools, and a good understanding of accounting principles.
Autonomous, rigorous, and proactive individual capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Must have good communication and teamwork skills.
