Description

The Assistant Controller must track and adjust items used in production and control inventories by conducting inventory checks. He must ensure that the oldest products are used first. He must conduct inventory checks and ensure that they balance with the FinancePro accounting software, and he must follow food safety procedures.

Requested skills

• Organize monthly and annual accounts and make adjustments accordingly;
• Ensure that raw material and biological inventories are kept up to date;
• Check and adjust consignment warehouses accordingly;
• Participate in recall activities as needed;
• Assist the Production Supervisor with production documents;
• Enter production data by closing work orders at the end of each day and entering multiple products;
• Bank reconciliations;
• Sales tax remittances;
• DAS remittances;
• Commissions and volume discounts;
• Verification of financial statements;
• Preparation of bank reports for review and approval by the Financial Controller.
