Our client is looking for a Sr. Manager SSU partnering with several Strategic Support Units on all financial matters, including monthly reporting & analysis, forecasting and budgeting.


Overview:

You will also play a key role in providing insights on monthly, quarterly and annual results, with additional focus on leading the corporate allocations strategy, reporting and analysis. Detail-oriented, with a sharp mindset, you are able to tell a smart, simple story around the numbers as well as being a collaborative leader are key elements to being ALL IN and being part of a winning team.


Must Have's:

  • 7+ years experience as a Manager in a Financial environment
  • Experience in the role of SSU
  • Business degree with a designation such as CPA or CFA preferred
  • Effective Communicator
  • A proven ability to interact and communicate at an executive level
  • Excellent effective problem solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills


Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective mentorship, coaching and direction to team members
  • Lead the development of annual SSU budgets and quarterly forecasts for expenditures, identifying areas for efficiency and improvements
  • Oversee delivering the monthly management reporting package including measuring and monitoring SSU expense financial results to identify emerging patterns or trends
  • Provide support to SSU business partners on financial matters in an effort to optimize financial performance
  • Partnering with SSU Leadership to provide insight and recommendations related to finance and business strategies
  • Gaining an understanding of the business and operations of the Strategic Support Units to offer valuable, proactive and pragmatic suggestions and solutions
  • Lead corporate allocations strategy, reporting and analysis
  • Providing insight at a big picture level, without losing the detail
  • Other ad hoc analysis as required
