Our valued client is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow-based solutions that support enterprise-wide technology management and modernization initiatives.

This role requires close collaboration with internal customers to translate business needs into scalable, maintainable ServiceNow solutions - avoiding over-customization while ensuring functionality and user adoption.

This position is hybrid - 3 times a week onsite in Montreal.

Tasks include:

• Development & Platform Implementation
• Design, configure, and develop solutions within the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
• Implement and maintain a centralized catalogue of technical products and lifecycles on ServiceNow.
• Ensure high performance and scalability of customizations, using platform best practices.
• Collaboration & Requirements Gathering
• Work directly with internal stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document technical requirements.
• Challenge and critique designs to ensure maintainable, non-overengineered solutions.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams across time zones and geographies.
• Standards & Process Improvement
• Advocate for software development best practices within the team.
• Help implement development standards, participate in code reviews, and suggest improvements to development and delivery processes.
• Support agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a software developer.
• 3+ years of hands-on development with ServiceNow, including experience with scripting and configuration.
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, data structures, SDLC models, and database development concepts.
• Ability to work independently with customers to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Experience working in agile development environments.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience modeling data in ServiceNow with knowledge of CSDM (Common Service Data Model).
• Background working at or with a ServiceNow partner consultancy on multi-client implementations.
• Experience developing custom UIs on the ServiceNow platform.
• Familiarity with IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes in ServiceNow.
• Experience integrating or working with Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow in complex, enterprise network environments.
• Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages.
• ITIL certification.
