Description
Our large utilities client is looking for a Senior Buyer for Site Services, supporting procurement of site operations, maintenance support services, and facilities services for an operating fleet.
Must Haves:
- Minimum 6+ years procurement experience, ideally in industrial, utilities, energy, or heavy‑industry environments.
- Hands-on experience purchasing site services, such as facilities services, janitorial, security, waste management, scaffolding, general labour, or other O&M services.
- Strong knowledge of RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP) and competitive bidding.
- Ability to support contract creation, renewals, amendments, and supplier onboarding.
- Experience working closely with operations, maintenance, or site teams to understand service needs.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP procurement modules.
- Strong commercial acumen for evaluating service proposals, pricing, and terms.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and ensure performance against safety, quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Skilled in resolving PO, invoice, and payment discrepancies.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
