Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide data and AI innovation projects

Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite, Downtown)

Term: 6-month contract with possible extension

Must Have:

10+ as an IT Project Manager
Experience managing IT or data-related projects in large, complex organizations
Proven experience leading data, analytics, or AI/ML-focused initiatives
Strong understanding of data strategy, data governance, and cloud data platforms (Azure preferred)
Demonstrated success managing multiple vendors and internal teams in fast-evolving technology programs
Expertise in project planning, budget management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication

Nice to have:

Experience supporting AI tools adoption, including Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or related productivity AI tools
Familiarity with Azure Data Services, Power BI, Azure Synapse, or Data Factory
Experience in Oil & Gas, utilities, or asset-intensive industries
PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP)
Proven ability to work across business and technical teams, translating strategy into actionable delivery
