Our client is looking for a Senior Business Process Analyst to support enterprise wide business modernization.


Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite, Downtown)**

Term: 6-month contract with possible extension


Our enterprise Oil & Gas client is undergoing a major business modernization initiative to streamline operations, standardize processes, and enable technology-driven efficiency across both field and corporate functions.

They are seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst to lead and support process improvement and documentation efforts across the organization. The first focus area will be Human Resources (HR), supporting a SuccessFactors upgrade and related HR business process transformation.


This role requires a strong business process generalist who can operate at both the strategic and tactical levels - engaging stakeholders, analyzing complex workflows, and translating business needs into clear, actionable solutions.


Must Have:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst or Business Analyst, with a focus on end to end business process improvement/modernization/transformation
  • Proven ability to lead workshops, document, and optimize business processes using standard methods and tools (e.g., BPMN, Visio, Lucidchart)
  • Experience working on cross-functional modernization or digital transformation programs
  • Skilled in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and translating process changes into system or policy updates
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making


Nice to have:

  • Experience with HR business processes and/or SAP SuccessFactors implementations or upgrades
  • Familiarity with Oil & Gas, utilities, or other asset-intensive industries
  • Exposure to change management practices and data-driven performance measurement
  • Certifications such as:
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
  • PROSCI Change Management
