S.i. Systems client is looking for a Senior BI Developer to develop and support Data models, Power BI Analytics, SSRS Reporting and Analytics for the Maintenance and Operations customers in the Mining Operations space.

12 month contract in Calgary or Vancouver (Preference for Calgary) - Preference for candidates willing to go onsite but will entertain remote candidates

MUST HAVES:

• Experience with data analysis and preparation, including considerable experience with very large data sets of unstructured data related to Business Intelligence
• Strong experience building BI data models for analytics and reporting
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational and analytical data sources
• Working knowledge with Azure Databricks in an analytics or BI context
• Hands-on experience developing Power BI datasets, semantic models, and dashboards
• Solid understanding of dimensional modelling, KPI design, and analytics best practices
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective data solutions
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset
• Experience in large-scale or industrial enterprise environments
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, or analytics lifecycle management practices

NICE TO HAVES:

• Exposure to SAP data platforms (e.g., SAP Datasphere, BDC)
• Experience in Mining Maintenance or Industrial Maintenance
