Description
Our midstream client is looking for an Intermediate Category specialist to lead category management and strategic sourcing activities for Emergency Response and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) categories.
- 7+ years of category management and strategic sourcing experience in an industrial, energy, utilities, or infrastructure environment
- Demonstrated experience managing Emergency Response and/or HSE categories
- Proven ability to lead RFPs, negotiations, and contract award processes independently
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen, including pricing models, risk allocation, and supplier evaluation
- Hands‑on experience using GEP (or similar enterprise sourcing / CLM platforms)
- Working knowledge of Maximo to support operational or asset‑driven procurement activities
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives in a fast‑paced, stakeholder‑driven environment
