Corporate Procurement Advisor to support strategic sourcing and supply chain management for IT (software, hardware, professional services and contingent labor) 2988

This role requires someone in office 2 days/per week in Calgary, 6 month contract to start

Must have:

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Corporate Procurement Advisor responsible for strategic sourcing and supply chain management
• Experience with at least two of the following areas: IT hardware/software, value-added reseller (VAR) contracts, managed/consulting services, contingent workforce)
• Experience with negotiations, strategy development and implementation, supplier relationships, contract management, forecasting, risk management, rebate allocation
• Experience with strategic sourcing including commodities spend management, S2C and P2P process
• Experience with Enterprise asset management systems (SAP/Oracle), spend management tools (Ariba, Analysis and Reports)

Nice to have:

• Advanced MS Excel skills, PowerBI, and dashboarding experience
• Experience in other corporate procurement areas such as HR, Legal, Finance, H&S
• Contract negotiation
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
• Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement (SCMP/CPSM), Lean / Six Sigma, or Operational Planning
