We are looking for a Financial Controller for our client located in Montreal, with parking or public transportation nearby. Your main responsibilities will be:

•Participate in the development and support of the company's strategic plans
• Including GL analysis and an explanation of actual results versus budget
• Monitor the financial performance of the company(ies)
• Compile and analyze financial reporting packages, including the preparation of monthly and annual
financial statements
• Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets
• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with company procedures
• Communicate financial metrics to senior management
• Provide leadership and support to the accounting, accounts receivable, co-pays, and payroll (HR)
departments
• Complete accounting cycle, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and accounting
entries
• Support during audits
• Backup to HR manager for payroll (45 employees max, mostly are salaries)

Requested skills

• Experience: minimum 5 years as a controller

• Education: Baccalaureate +, accounting designation preferred

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Must be motivated, autonomous, and discreet

• Ability to work closely with a management team
 
• Employee supervision (6)

• Accpac & Sage an asset

• Bilingualism in French and English is required for this position. The role involves frequent collaboration and              discussions with clients. These interactions require proficiency in both French and English in order
  to effectively carry out the responsibilities associated with the position.
