Description
Our client is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer who specializes in designing and implementing physical Scada and Control System Networks for industrial field facilities.
Hybrid role - 3 days in downtown Calgary office
Possibility of extension
Must have:
- Experience as a Telecommunications Engineer who specializes in designing and implementing Scada and Control System Networks for industrial field facilities
- Professional Engineering Certification (P.Eng) from APEGA
- Experience designing or working with physical engineering design elements such as rack space, power, and cabling
- Experience analyzing, designing and implementing TCP/IP based network and telecommunications systems
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of RS-232 serial protocols
- Basic understanding of control system end devices such as RTUs, PLCs, HMIs,
AI may be used in evaluating candidates.
