Our valued client is looking for a Sr. (bilingual) Scrum Master to support existing teams in defining their ways of working and guides them in their continuous improvement efforts.


This is a hybrid (3 days in office) role in Montreal, QC


Tasks include:

  • Act as Scrum Master for two teams, providing coaching on agile mindset and practices, self-organization, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Help teams stay focused on meeting their commitments and creating value according to expected quality.
  • Address obstacles promptly to minimize impact on commitments and improve value delivery.
  • Support teams in defining their ways of working and ensure they are followed.
  • Facilitate key team ceremonies (e.g., daily scrum, iteration planning, iteration review, retrospective).
  • Help the Product Owner maintain a healthy product backlog and coach them on their role.
  • Ensure cross-team coordination with other Scrum Masters and Delivery Leads, and manage dependencies between teams and third parties.
  • Coach teams on proper planning and estimation practices.
  • Coach teams on systems thinking and organizational awareness.
  • Maintain and report relevant team metrics, and track team progress toward delivery milestones.
  • Actively participate in the organization's agile chapter and in the product family.
  • Support the organization in adopting an agile mindset and practices


Must have:

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is mandatory
  • Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SSM) or Kanban certification (e.g., TKP, KMP, PSK)
  • More than ten years of relevant experience in a leadership role (e.g., Scrum Master) with agile teams, across various initiatives, applying and reinforcing agile best practices.
  • Hands-on experience working with Scrum and Kanban teams.
  • Experience working in a large-scale agile environment (e.g., SAFe, Nexus, LeSS), involving feature delivery with multiple dependencies across teams.
  • At least ten years of experience in information technology.
  • At least five years of experience in a large enterprise.
  • Knowledge of agile practices and frameworks such as Kanban, JIT, Lean principles, Disciplined Agile, SAFe, Nexus, etc.


Nice to have:

  • Disciplined Agile certification (e.g., CDA, DALSM, DASM) is an asset.
  • Experience in a banking environment is an asset
  • Knowledge of the Azure DevOps platform (an asset)
