Hybrid: 2 day a week in office

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Front-End Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team supporting their innovative digital health platform. You will drive the development of performant, accessible, and scalable front-end experiences using React, JavaScript, and GCP. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical guidance with people management.
Team: 8 developers
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of front-end engineers, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Own the technical direction and delivery of front-end features
- Partner with product, design, and back-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Ensure high code quality through reviews, testing, and performance best practices.
- Advocate for modern development standards and continuous improvement.
- Balance hands-on coding with leadership and strategic planning.
Must-Have:
- Proven experience leading front-end engineering teams.
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web development.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and CI/CD pipelines.
- Track record of delivering high-quality, scalable web applications.
