Your job
- Provide network support and analysis in a complex, multi-site environment using Arista (Layer 1 and 3), Corvil, and proprietary FPGA technologies
- Configure, install, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, servers, and network security systems
- Implement networking projects and collaborate with vendors to meet service objectives
- Create and update documentation for connectivity to financial exchanges and third-party vendors
- Monitor and resolve IT security issues, ensuring compliance with PCI/SOX standards
- Perform daily maintenance, optimization, and health checks of systems and infrastructure, automating tasks via scripting.
- Provide technical support for critical systems, Troubleshooting and resolve escalated issues and maintain system uptime via Jira, including after-hours support as needed.

Prerequisites
- Degree in computer science or information management, or equivalent experience and 5 years’ experience in a network engineering or related role within a broker dealer
- CCNP certification mandatory, CCIE preferred, AWS Network Associate, an asset
- Expertise with Arista/Cisco core technologies (e.g., ASR 4k, Catalyst 6500) with strong Cisco IOS knowledge, Arista Layer 1 switches (Metamako), Corvil CNE for trading data capture
- OSPF/BGP, multicast (PIM-SM), IP/ARP/MAC, spanning-tree, VLAN, NAT, QoS troubleshooting
- Cisco ASA, site-to-site VPNs (IKEv2); Checkpoint, an asset
- Python, Bash, Netconf, an asset)
- Strong communication and documentation (Visio)
- Ability to multitask and maintain positive and professional relationships with external vendors, service providers and customers.
