Overview:

Our client is seeking a Senior Test Lead / QA Manager to manage and lead enterprise-level testing activities for the implementation of a new enterprise software suite. This role is responsible for establishing QA strategy, leading testing resources, and ensuring software quality across functional and non-functional testing streams throughout the full Test Life Cycle. The Test Lead will work closely with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure system standards, quality objectives, and delivery timelines are met.

Must-Haves:

• 8+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including leadership or Test Lead responsibilities
• Strong expertise across the full Test Life Cycle (TLC) and its integration with the SDLC
• Hands-on experience with functional and non-functional testing, including performance, regression, and integration testing
• Strong experience with risk-based testing methodologies
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Visio, Microsoft 365).
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage test strategies, plans, and cases

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience designing or overseeing automated testing framework
• Experience with enterprise HR, ERP, or large-scale SaaS implementations
• Previous experience working in policing, public safety, or paramilitary organizations
• Experience with enterprise-level project planning and governance
• Familiarity with Google Workspace tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Smartsheet) and Microsoft 365

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Quality Assurance function, including setting direction, priorities, and day-to-day activities for QA resources
• Establish and enforce QA standards, methodologies, and best practices across the testing lifecycle
• Design, execute, and maintain functional and non-functional test strategies, plans, and cases
• Oversee manual and automated testing efforts and ensure appropriate coverage and risk-based prioritization
• Coordinate testing activities across technical and non-technical workstreams
• Review requirements, specifications, and system changes to ensure quality and standards compliance
• Work closely with developers and analysts to identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects
• Validate test results, ensure accuracy and integrity of findings, and provide clear reporting on testing progress and risks
• Manage defect tracking, test metrics, and quality reporting for stakeholders
• Expand domain knowledge and develop expertise in enterprise systems as required
• Support project delivery through collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous quality improvement
• Perform other related duties as required
