Duration: 12 Months (+1 year extension)

Location: Hybrid (3x/week in Toronto office)

Overview:

The Commercial banking Technology PMO is seeking Senior Technology Project Managers to lead complex, multi-team initiatives within the Online Business Banking (OLBB) and Treasury & Payments Solutions (TPS) portfolios.

These roles will drive end-to-end delivery across initiatives spanning corporate cards, receivables, deposits, and cloud migration (on-prem to cloud) programs. You will work in a fast-paced, hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment, coordinating multiple internal technology teams and vendor partners to deliver high-quality, high-impact technology solutions for the bank's commercial and business banking customers.

• Own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring successful execution within defined scope, schedule, budget, and quality parameters.
• Plan and lead complex technical projects involving 5-10 internal development teams and cross-functional stakeholders across OLBB, Payments, and Treasury platforms.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, QA, and release teams to ensure solution alignment and delivery readiness.
• Apply hybrid Agile/Waterfall project management methods effectively, balancing speed with governance and risk control.
• Oversee project financials ($1M-$5M) - forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly reporting to Finance and PMO leadership.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to technology, scope, or interdependencies across delivery streams.
• Partner closely with LOB sponsors and communications teams to drive transparency, change adoption, and stakeholder alignment.
• Deliver clear, actionable status reports and dashboards for executive visibility.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the TPS PMO through best practices in estimation, governance, and delivery execution.

• 8+ years of experience managing large-scale technology projects within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven success leading cross-platform technology initiatives (preferably within Online Business Banking, Payments, or Treasury domains).
• Strong technical acumen with understanding of cloud migration, API integration, mobile, and back-end systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing hybrid Agile/Waterfall programs.
• Skilled in stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and proactive risk management.
• Expertise in project management tools such as Clarity, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint.
• Strong understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project governance controls.
• PMP certification from PMI required.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering is an asset.

• Prior experience delivering technology projects within a large Canadian financial institution.
• Familiarity with Online Business Banking (OLBB) or Corporate Payments platforms.
• Exposure to receivables modernization and deposit system transformations.
