We are seeking a Technology Operations Readiness Lead with a strong Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) background to drive and coordinate go-live readiness activities for large-scale, mission-critical technology systems. This role is ideal for a technically grounded professional who excels in program management, cross-team coordination, and operational governance rather than hands-on SRE execution.

The successful candidate will partner with multiple technical and business groups to ensure all operational readiness components - documentation, testing, monitoring, and KPIs - are defined, validated, and in place before go-live.

Location - Downtown Toronto

Work Mode - Hybrid, 2 days per week in office

Duration - 9 months plus extension

Must Haves

• 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or technical operations roles supporting production systems
• Experience leading go-live or operational readiness for high-stakes, real-time systems (ideally fraud, risk, or payments platforms)
• Strong understanding of production observability CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure management
• Excellent cross-functional communication and program coordination skills
• Demonstrated success driving operations-readiness initiatives end-to-end
• Familiarity with service-level objectives (SLOs), chaos engineering, or incident management practices
• Experience working in hybrid cloud or cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, etc.)
