Our energy & resources client is seeking a Senior Application/Systems Business Analyst (10+ years) to support and enhance OpenText Content Server for Engineering.

Work within a leading oil & gas environment focused on engineering document management and IT application ownership. This role drives ongoing application support and business analysis for OpenText Content Server while contributing to broader IT platforms across the enterprise. Candidates will have visibility within a multi-disciplinary team supporting critical engineering data systems in Calgary.

Contract, Calgary, Onsite 5 days, Working Hours: MST

Must Haves

• 10+ years as a Application/Systems Business Analyst supporting enterprise business applications
• Experience with OpenText Content Server specifically for Engineering environments
• Experience in IT application ownership and cross-platform support
• Willingness to learn and administer additional IT systems beyond OpenText and GIS solutions
• Post-secondary education in Information Technology or related field
• Experience working with or supporting ArcGIS systems

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain OpenText Content Server used in engineering operations
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to analyze system requirements
• Identify opportunities for improved application usage and efficiency
• Assist in planning and transition of ownership for additional IT platforms
• Provide documentation and knowledge transfer related to supported applications
