Our Oil and Gas client is seeking a Senior Software Programmer to build and deploy solutions related to land and well data using Power Platform, Azure development and Python Scripting

Calgary-based office. Candidates must be in office in downtown Calgary 5 days/week (8:00 am to 4:30pm)

Must Haves:

• 10+ years in Software Development or as a Technical Business Analyst with a focus on oil and gas applications/reporting
• Experience in Power Platform including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps
• Advanced Azure application development and Python scripting capabilities
• Experience with any of the following: WellView, Siteview, CS Land, Execute, or StackDx in upstream environments

Strong Nice-to-Have's:

• Experience with Spotfire for data visualization and reporting
• Background in process automation across energy sector systems
• Post-secondary education in computer science, petroleum, or business analysis

• This role requires advanced technical proficiency to execute development tasks, participate in technical reviews, and drive results, ensuring effective outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Responsible for building and implementing business process, system, and data automation initiatives through technical requirement documentation, solution design, development, testing, and deployment to business stakeholders.
