Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior SAP Project Manager to lead business process transformation activities related to the integration of enterprise wide financial functions.

Background:

The organization has several concurrent initiatives to improve the way the department conducts its business and fulfills its mandate as it relates to financial management accountability, policy and governance. With these corporate initiatives well under way, it is imperative that the department look at an integrated project plan to ensure a coordinated effort is pursued for successful outcomes.

Tasks:

• Create an integrated Project Plan.
• Manage, monitor and continuingly update the integrated schedule of all projects, integration of financial business process improvements, track communications, establish organizational change management, training strategies and plans, feed into project planning, establish communication and coordination to ensure financial community and Finance Governance bodies are engaged and are being advised of project status, impacts, and changes to financial business processes.
• Identify, analyze, monitor and respond to any risk.
• Work closely and assist the Project Director on project management of all transformation projects with a focus a roadmap to S4 and ensuring the organization has all tools to be successful and to ensure adequate representation of the financial community.
