Our energy & resources client is seeking a Senior Project Manager (10+ years) to lead technology and cyber projects within Corporate Groups using Oracle ERP and SDLC methodologies

Join a high-visibility IT portfolio delivering end-to-end projects across Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Cyber Security domains. This contract role drives full project lifecycle execution-from planning through implementation-within a complex, fast-paced environment of continual change and competing priorities. The position offers ownership of critical Oracle BPSS and Redwood upgrade initiatives, reporting to IT Applications & Planning leadership. Dynamic hybrid work flexibility in Calgary supports collaboration and engagement across enterprise stakeholders.

Must Haves

  • 7+ years of project management experience delivering technology or cyber initiatives using SDLC frameworks
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience driving ERP and enterprise applications projects within Corporate Groups (Supply Chain, Finance, HR)
  • Exposure to Oracle BPSS and Redwood lifecycle enhancements
  • Strong stakeholder leadership managing complex organizational change and cross-functional teams
  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting HR, Finance, or Supply Chain software and business units
  • Background operating within Hybrid, Agile, or stage-gated project frameworks
  • Experience with large-scale organizational initiatives requiring enterprise collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple technology and cyber projects within the Common Groups portfolio
  • Develop and manage project plans encompassing scope, budget, schedule, risks, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and KPIs
  • Execute Oracle BPSS and Redwood upgrade initiatives aligned with enterprise objectives
  • Manage risks, issues, and evolving priorities while maintaining project alignment
  • Communicate status, progress, and outcomes to executive and operational leaders
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement and lessons learned
