Our energy and utilities client is seeking a Senior Agile Project Manager (10+ years) to lead AI & Automation initiatives within a Google-centric enterprise environment

Join a high-impact IT delivery team driving innovation across AI, automation, and enterprise integration domains within a leading energy and utilities organization. This position leads end-to-end Agile execution using Scrum methodologies, enabling faster, smarter, and safer deployment of advanced automation solutions. The role offers executive visibility, stakeholder alignment, and ownership over AI-enabled digital transformation programs.

Must Haves

  • 7+ years in Agile project management delivering complex AI, machine learning, or automation initiatives
  • Hands-on leadership with Scrum frameworks and Agile delivery practices including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and retrospective management
  • Expert-level proficiency using Jira and Confluence for backlog tracking, reporting, and transparency
  • Experience operating within the Google Workspace and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystems
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced Agile certifications and PMP required

Nice to Have

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Advanced CSM, PSM II, or PMI-ACP credentials
  • Prior experience managing budgets, forecasts, and scope within large energy sector projects
  • Background facilitating cross-functional collaboration with technical and business stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams through full lifecycle delivery of AI and automation initiatives using Scrum methodologies
  • Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Track and analyze metrics for team velocity, capacity planning, and burn-down performance
  • Resolve impediments and remove blockers to ensure successful sprint execution
  • Manage project scope, budgets, and monthly forecasts, maintaining focus on MVP delivery
  • Serve as the central point of alignment for executive stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors
  • Champion Agile maturity and process improvement across the IT Delivery Assurance team
