Our client is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist responsible for leading RFP processes for ERP transformation and enterprise applications, supporting business transformation and enterprise asset management within a dynamic utilities environment.

This is an initial 12‑month engagement with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will be based in Calgary and is expected to work a hybrid schedule.

Must-Haves:

• 10+ years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, and contracting
• Proven experience writing and leading RFP’s for ERP and enterprise applications
• Strong track record negotiating complex, high‑value technology contracts
• Direct experience supporting ERP platforms and major enterprise system initiatives

Nice-To-Haves:

• Professional designation (SCMP, CIP, CPM)
• Exposure to enterprise governance and executive‑level approvals
• Background partnering with Legal, Finance, and Risk teams
• Experience managing vendors post‑contract award

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing for enterprise IT initiatives
• Run competitive RFP processes and supplier evaluations
• Negotiate and structure MSAs, licensing, and implementation contracts
• Support ERP and platform initiatives through implementation and lifecycle
• Manage stakeholders and strategic vendors, supporting governance decisions
