Our valued public sector client is hiring a Senior M365 Platform Administrator to support a large-scale SharePoint Online migration and enterprise cloud environment.

Background:

The organization is undertaking a large-scale migration from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online, involving tens of thousands of sites. This initiative requires strong tenant-level administration, security configuration, and governance to ensure a secure, scalable, and well-managed Microsoft 365 environment. The role will support identity, access, and platform configuration while contributing to overall stability, performance, and adoption of M365 services.

Tasks:

• Configure and manage tenant-wide settings across Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
• Administer user identities, roles, and access permissions within Entra ID (Azure AD) and PIM.
• Design and implement Conditional Access and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) policies to enhance security and compliance.
• Support governance, security, and access control practices across the M365 tenant.
• Provide advanced (Tier 3/4) support for M365 services, including troubleshooting complex issues related to Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and identity services.
• Support migration activities by ensuring proper configuration, access, and stability of SharePoint Online and related services.
• Ensure proper configuration and ongoing maintenance of tenant-level controls during migration activities.
• Contribute to documentation including configuration standards, SOPs, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to support platform improvements, integration considerations, and ongoing service enhancements.

Must Haves:

• Relevant Microsoft Certifications (i.e. MS-900, AZ-900, SC-900, etc.)
• Secret Clearance
