Our energy and resources client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Data & Analytics Consultant to drive data-driven decision-making and automation initiatives across IT/OT environments. (10838)

Must Haves

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and experience in data modeling and data processing
• Minimum 5+ years performing data collection, ETL, and data analysis within IT/OT environments
• Strong background in statistical analysis, data interpretation, and deriving actionable insights
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks, PI Data Historian, MS SQL Server, other data visualization tools, REST API programming
• Understanding of the upstream oil & gas industry, including Process Data, SCADA, Field Data Capture, and SAP
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

• Gather data from various sources, including databases, internal systems, and external feeds
• Develop and maintain data collection and storage solutions ensuring accuracy and integrity
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze data and identify patterns, trends, and correlations
• Create visualizations, reports, dashboards, and write-back dashboards for business stakeholders
• Communicate analytical insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with business teams to define needs and translate them into data-driven solutions
• Innovate and troubleshoot process enhancements to improve system efficiency

This role focuses on transforming complex operational data into actionable insights that inform decision-making and optimize processes. The position offers an opportunity to innovate and integrate analytical models supporting large-scale infrastructure and production systems. Candidates will undergo a technical assessment of Python and SQL skills as part of the selection process.
