Seeking a Data Analyst with Python and SQL to translate business rules into production ready data to support Digital Supply Chain Transformation (3039)

Work environment: Hybrid - Calgary

Length: 6 month possibility of extension

Must have:

• Experience as a Data Analyst where you where responsible for translating business rules into reliable, production‑ready data transformations
• Understanding or experience with SupplyChain business processes preferred
• Experience using python for data manipulation and transformation
• Advanced SQL skills including: complex joins, window functions, and queries
• Experience working with transformation pipelines with two or more of the following: Glue, dbt, Step Functions, Airflow, custom frameworks, or similar).

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with data modeling concepts.
• Experience with Git‑based workflows.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Ability to perform advanced analysis or exploratory work when needed.
• Exposure to PySpark usage

What you will be doing:

• Working closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Digital, IT, Data, and external technology partners to translate real-world operational workflows into scalable, standardized, and measurable digital solutions that drive safety, service, cost, and productivity outcomes
• Business Rule Translation & Pipeline development
• Validation & requirements traceability
• Packaging and Hand off for Deployment
• Provide deeper Analytical insight to identify needs, trends, anomalies or opportunities to make recommendations to improve insights for business decision making
