Senior Change Management Specialist to support a Cybersecutity Transofmration Intiative with client in the public sector

Hours: 35 Hours/Week

Location: Hamilton, ON - 2 days a week onsite (Tues/Weds)

Contract: 5-6 Months + extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies and plans for technology-driven transformation initiatives.
• Lead change initiatives tied to IT and cybersecurity programs, including the deployment of new systems, tools, and security processes.
• Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIAs), stakeholder analyses, and organizational readiness assessments.
• Partner closely with project managers, technical teams, and business units to support smooth implementation and user adoption.
• Develop and deliver tailored communication, training, and engagement strategies.
• Identify change risks and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide coaching to senior leaders and managers to help them fulfill their change leadership roles.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in organizational change management, with a strong focus on IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Proven experience delivering change programs in government settings - municipal experience highly preferred.
• Deep understanding of public sector structures, governance, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Demonstrated success leading change efforts related to the deployment of enterprise-level IT and cyber tools/processes.
• Strong experience conducting BIAs and managing change impact across complex organizations.
• Prosci Change Management Certification required (other relevant certifications considered an asset).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills.
