Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist with the enhancement and upgrade of a online permitting system

This is a part time role (20 hours/week). Candidates will be required to be in office in Calgary when needed

Must haves:

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst (or a Technical Lead) with a focus on large-scale application projects
5+ years of experience creating detailed specifications for a development team, including business impact and risk and value analysis
Previous experience as a software developer utilizing .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Backbone and Angular
Experience in data analysis

Nice to haves:

The ability to mentor technical and functional resources
Strong customer service skills
Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations
Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels
Experience leading a team
Experience in project management, planning, reporting and estimating
