Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist with the enhancement and upgrade of a online permitting system

This is a part time role (20 hours/week). Candidates will be required to be in office in Calgary when needed

Must haves:

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst (or a Technical Lead) with a focus on large-scale application projects
5+ years of experience creating detailed specifications for a development team, including business impact and risk and value analysis
Previous experience as a software developer utilizing .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, Backbone and Angular
Experience in data analysis

Nice to haves:

The ability to mentor technical and functional resources;
Strong customer service skills;
Previous work experience in the public sector or large organizations;
Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels;
Experience leading a team; and
Experience in project management, planning, reporting and estimating.
