Description
Our utility client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to assist Agile Development teams with process mapping and Agile user stories
Candidates will be in-office 4 days/week in downtown Calgary
Must haves:
- 5+ years as Business Analyst with a focus on Agile software development writing Agile User Stories
- Experience with Process Mapping (current-state and future-state)
- Experience producing documentation (acceptance criteria, Business requirements, User Stories)
- Ability to analyze problems and recommend improvements
Nice to haves:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exposure to SAP environments
- Experience working in enterprise or complex environments
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops
- Translate requirements into clear Agile user stories for development teams
- Perform current-state and future-state process mapping
- Support backlog refinement and Agile delivery planning with Product Owners and development teams
- Identify process improvements and root causes of operational issues
