Location Address: Hybrid - Toronto - as of now, mandate is to come in 4x/week starting in September, this is subject to change for the team - want candidates in the GTA who are OK with this

Contract Duration: ASAP to Nov 28th, 2025 - Hiring team working on renew the assignment once the contractor is onboarded.

Schedule Hours: 9 am-5 pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week

• Business group: Technology Program Management & Transformation - team that manages cloud data integration and governance for IB, providing efficient and standardized solutions that enable different business areas to access and use data securely and effectively.
• Project: International Banking - Data Migration and Transformation to Cloud
• Mission: To develop and maintain a cloud platform that integrates data from various sources, standardizes processes, and facilitates data publication for consumers and producers, ensuring quality, security, and accessibility.
• Scope: The primary objective of this project is to design and implement a unified cloud data platform for IB across different countries.
• Impact: Efficient ingestion of data from multiple on-premises sources to the cloud.
• Data transformation and standardization into organized layers (landing and standardization zones).
• Rapid data delivery for bank teams requiring reports, indicators, or advanced analysis.
• Incorporation of reusable data products for transversal consumption across the organization.
• The project prioritizes agility in delivery, enabling tactical solutions (quick, connected to local sources) when necessary, while promoting progressive advancement toward fully cloud-based strategic solutions.

Typical Day in Role:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive business cases, including financial analysis and ROI projections.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring cost control and transparency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and decision-making.
• Apply Agile principles to manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables, promoting continuous improvement and team collaboration.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership and contribute to strategic planning efforts.

Must Have Skills:

• 10 years of progressive experience in project management, including strategic planning, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement.
• 5+ experience in business case development and budget ownership.
• 5 years of experience applying Agile methodologies in enterprise-scale environments, with hands-on expertise in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices and delivery.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex projects with significant business impact.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
• Understanding of data governance, metadata, and quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS) and data modernization projects.

Education:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification strongly preferred.

• The ideal Project Manager is bilingual in Spanish, enabling seamless communication with international stakeholders. They bring hands-on leadership, guiding teams with clarity and accountability, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
