Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Bilingual Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot and hands-on experience migrating on-premise applications and services to AWS.
The team oversees the full application lifecycle (new features, maintenance, support, security, and modernization). The immediate priority is to migrate numerous OpenShift-hosted services to a scalable, secure AWS Cloud architecture.
Location: Hybrid - Saint-Hyacinthe, QC (2 days onsite / 3 days remote)
Contract: 6-month initial term (likely extension)
Language: Bilingual (French & English required)
Must Haves
- 10+ years of hands-on Java application development experience
- Strong Spring Boot and microservices architecture expertise
- Proven experience migrating applications to AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, etc.)
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or container orchestration platforms
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, SOA, and distributed application architecture
- Bilingual
