High-Level Description:

This position will support projects in effective and efficient transition to from initial stages through to the Business Units. Supporting Project Managers in navigating Project Lifecycle Gating Control (PLGC), Project Turnover, and Project Closeout requirements.

Specific Accountabilities:

• Support efficient and timely turnover and closeout of Projects

• Represent Projects in Business Unit Operational Readiness Assurance (ORA) reviews

• Track completion of key issues and deficiencies that impact turnover and closeout of Projects

• Develop Project Closeout Plans

• Coordinate Project Lifecycle Gating Control reviews

• Track and report on Project closeout status and issues to leadership

Scope/Dimension

• Efficient Gating, turnover and closeout of projects will significantly save projects cost and schedule

• Efficient turnover of projects will increase satisfaction of both projects and the Business Units

Must Haves:

• Five or more years of related experience in projects, including project turnover, Operational Readiness, Project Gating, and Project closeout

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Highly effective interpersonal skills with proven ability to independently lead and/or coordinate work with diverse groups and individual personalities as appropriate (project team, internal and external stakeholders, customers and contractors)

• Efficient with all types of software.
