Description
Our client is Canada's largest retailer. They are looking for an Intermediate Project Manager to oversee the Production Issue Management Team, providing a detailed project plans and resolving production defects.
Duration: 7 Months, to start
Location: 3-4 days/week onsite - Brampton and North York
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all production defect-related activities.
- Assign, track, and manage production issues, tickets, and tasks using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and SharePoint.
- Work closely with production team to ensure issues are triaged, assigned, and progressed efficiently.
- Create and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring accountability and visibility across stakeholders.
- Raise risks, blockers, and issues proactively and communicate resolutions clearly.
- Act as a strong communicator and bridge between technical teams, QA, and leadership.
- Ensure release and deployment readiness from a defect-fix standpoint.
Must Have Skills:
- 5+ Years as a Project Manager in a release/deployment or production support environment.
- Experience creating and maintaining detailed project plans.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow, and SharePoint
