Intermediate Project Manager to manage the service delivery of various multi-year meter replacement initiatives across Canada

Our large, enterprise client is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to manage the service delivery of various multi-year meter replacement initiatives across Canada.

Duration: 6-months to start (strong possibility of extension)

Working Model: Hybrid working model in SW Calgary. Occasional travel would be required across AB, BC, MC, and ON.

Must-Haves:

• 6+ years' of demonstrated Project Management experience
• 5+ years' of service delivery experience, including project scheduling, cost/budget, and risk management experience
• Experience managing utility projects (similar to meter replacements)
• Strong stakeholder and operations management experience across various internal teams
• Experience with PM tools for tracking and delivery

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with water, gas, and/or electrical meter replacement projects
• PMP certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a detailed project plan that identifies and sequences the activities and tasks needed to complete projects successfully
• Monitor the project's progress, cost, and scope of work and adjust as necessary to ensure its successful completion
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to schedule, install, and manage data requirements for the supply and installation of utility meters
• Maintain compliance with customers’ progress reporting requirements
• Ensure quality management to ensure that installation data is accurate and meets the customers’ needs
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and routine project reporting to management.
• Interface with lead hands and installation team members to ensure work is clearly communicated and kept on track
