Intermediate Project Manager to Lead a Workday LMS project with one of our financial services clients- 15657
Desired Location: Hybrid - Toronto (3 days on site)
Contract Duration: 11/03/2025- 5/02/2027
Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Job Description:
- The Project Manager, will be responsible for supporting and delivering a variety of different projects, including time sensitive requests. The Project Manager will provide support to several learning projects as needed, including Workday LMS Module implementation initiative. The desired candidate will have excellent process improvement skills, project management experience and previous operational experience in a learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Promote a learning culture which delivers a personalized approach to professional development for all Manulife teams globally
- Use project management and change leadership skills and methodologies in developing project roadmaps and deliverables
- Collaborate with key partners within COE such as the Digital Solutions Lead, Pillar Lead etc. and other HR colleagues such as Talent, Tech Team, HRPs, Communications team to ensure alignment and achievement of deliverables
- Responsible for management of project lifecycle from project definition/scope through implementation
- Lead the project management and change management plans to launch the Workday LMS module implementation and assist employees as they navigate this new system
- Partner with the business to plan, design and develop materials required to support learning needs of employees
- Analyze KPIs and communicate project status to all stakeholders on a regular basis throughout the lifecycle of a project
- Support the delivery of a variety of reporting processes including time sensitive data requests and use process improvement methods to streamline recurring reporting requirements
Must-Have Skills:
- Project management experience (5+ years), including Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Workday Learning implementation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SmartSheet, JIRA, PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience in a global learning environment.
- Familiarity with change management frameworks.
- Knowledge of industry standards in learning and development.
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) would be an asset.
Interview Process
- How many rounds of interviews - 3 Rounds
- Types of Interviews - 1st with Manager, 2nd with a Sponsor and 3rd with a VP+ Level
- Interview Duration - 45 Minutes and 30 minutes, respectively
