Description
Our client is looking for an Intermediate Deskside Support Analyst to cover 2 end clients from 1pm-5pm (Part-Time), 3 days a week ongoing in Edmonton [Onsite; Edmonton Area].
Must Have's:
- 4+ years of experience providing Desktop support
- Experience with providing:
- end user support,
- laptop/desktop hardware and windows support
- mobile devices
- printers and peripherals
- installed applications
- Hands and feet for tier 2 or tier 3 support
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting business applications (including standard and complex applications)
- Installations
- Potentially handling vendor support calls when needed
- Imaging laptops/desktops
- Hands and feet for tier 3 support
- Network cable exchanges
- Local access to network
- Server or storage to assist the other support teams with
- Rebooting devices
- Installation or removal of components (following Tier 3 instructions)
- Coordinating with Trace IT team for activities
- Ticket management with good details
- Speaking with other deskside resources to coordinate or troubleshoot issues
- Customer service is keys
- Professional demeanor
- Soft touch with users
- Speaking calmly and positively responsive to requests
- Providing timelines and understanding priority
- Work with team lead for updates and escalations
- Work with site manager for updates and escalations
