Description
Our transportation industry client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to implement and support enterprise applications and interfaces within Business Technology Services (BTS) standards - RFC-2026-018
Join a project-focused environment supporting the delivery and maintenance of enterprise systems for a major consumer transportation organization. This role provides technical and business analysis expertise across applications throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with BTS regulations and standards. The position involves collaboration with clients, BTS teams, and software suppliers to design, implement, and support system solutions, enhancements, and integrations. It offers hands-on involvement in critical system operations and application health management.
6 months contract to start. 2 days/week onsite in New West. 37.5 hours/week.
Must Haves
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise applications in an information technology environment
- Recent work following frameworks such as ITIL, Modern Service Management, Lean, and DevOps
- Experience utilizing development tools and information engineering techniques in application support and enhancement
- Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field from a recognized institution
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environment (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- Experience supporting Microsoft Power Platform (Power App, Power Automate)
Responsibilities
- Work with clients and BTS teams to identify, propose, and implement new applications, services, and solutions
- Develop software customizations, interfaces, reports, and new applications where agreed and feasible
- Coordinate setup of test, development, and production environments with infrastructure teams
- Maintain health of applications by providing technical and maintenance support across lifecycle stages
- Respond to escalated Service Desk tickets and emergency operational support requests
- Liaise with software suppliers and BTS teams to resolve system issues and deliver enhancements
- Create and maintain system documentation supporting continued operations and disaster recovery
