About Brucejack
Our Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.

As Supervisor, Mine Planning, you’ll play a critical leadership role in shaping short- and long-term underground mine plans. Your work ensures alignment with production targets, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence, directly influencing safety, efficiency, and performance outcomes.
Lead and mentor junior/intermediate engineers across planning, drill & blast, ventilation, and projects
Prepare accurate short- and long-range mine plans, ensuring optimal sequencing and layout
Participate in daily control and safety meetings to drive high-performance operations
Collaborate cross-functionally with geology, geotechnical, and mine ops teams
Review, maintain, and update SOPs for compliance and best practices
Analyze production data to monitor results, report KPIs, and drive corrective actions
Present planning updates and forecasts to senior leadership
Identify and implement efficiency improvements and cost-saving initiatives
Support operational risk management through continuous monitoring and mitigation
Bachelor’s Degree in Mine Engineering (or related discipline)
P.Eng. designation or eligibility in British Columbia
Proven experience in underground hard rock mining
Strong understanding of mine planning and operations integration
Proficiency in Deswik CAD, Sched, and MDM software
Ability to review and approve detailed engineering documents
Experience in project or contract management
Collaborative leadership style with strong problem-solving skills
Remote camp setting with private accommodations provided
Onsite meals, gym, recreation, and entertainment facilities
Travel allowance and transportation arrangements included
Rotational schedule: 13 days on / 13 days off
Drug & alcohol-free workplace (pre-employment testing required)
We are now recruiting for the position of Supervisor, Mine Planning, with a competitive annual base salary of $103,300-137,700, plus 15% short-term incentives. The offered base salary will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and competencies, with consideration to internal equity. Join the Brucejack team now!

The expected salary range for this role is CA$103,300 - 137,700 / year . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
