Your Impact

As the Mobile Maintenance Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed maintenance schedules that ensure the timely and efficient execution of mobile maintenance work. Your role directly supports operational reliability by aligning maintenance priorities with safety, statutory, and production requirements. Through proactive coordination, risk management, and continuous improvement, you will help optimize asset performance and minimize operational disruption across open pit operations.

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Liaise with team members and site key stakeholders to co-ordinate the schedule input assumptions as well as any required milestones.
  • Prioritize with maintenance and operations team activities based on statutory, safety, criticality, and urgency, utilizing stakeholders and relationship building skills.
  • Prepare and communicate detailed integrated maintenance weekly schedules with accurate timelines and all necessary materials and equipment available.
  • Monitor and schedule resource allocation for plans and schedule requirements.
  • Conduct work management meetings including reconciliation of past schedules to capture learnings for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor budget expenditures against schedule progress, flagging any areas of concern to asset management leadership.
  • Assess relevant risks, implement mitigation measures, and continuously monitor for risks
  • Develop +4 weeks maintenance schedule horizon
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Formal education qualifications in maintenance-related fields (e.g., Heavy Duty Mechanic, journeyperson trade designation, engineering, technologist, MMP, etc.) are desired.
  • Strong understanding of SAP CMMS systems and scheduling software.
  • Demonstrated understanding of maintenance work management processes and business improvement principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated understanding of contract management.
  • Mechanical aptitude with advanced proficiency in maintenance planning and/or scheduling in an open pit mining environment.
  • Competent in SAP and/or SIGGA or similar scheduling tools.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to apply practical judgment to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize workflows.
Your Work Environment

Location: Remote (Canada-based), with occasional travel to site as required

Travel: Periodic site visits to support maintenance scheduling alignment, stakeholder engagement, and operational reviews

Work Setting: Primarily remote professional role supporting Maintenance Control and Asset Management teams

Collaboration: Regular interaction with maintenance, reliability, operations, warehouse, procurement, and contractor team

The expected salary range for this role is CA$85,400-120,000 w/ 15% STIP . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
