National Bank is currently seeking analysts as part of the Talent Integration Program for the Capital Markets Operations sector.
A career as a Trading Support Analyst in the Capital Markets Operations team at National Bank means you’ll be an OTC operations specialist. With your knowledge of the OTC products (FX, money markets), your desire to contribute to the transformation of the sector and your passion of capital markets, you’ll have a positive impact on the growth and profitability of the bank.
Your job
- Support the OTC traders and marketers for the FX and money markets derivatives
- Ensure a proper representation of OTC transactions in our different systems
- Contribute to the integration of new products and other regulatory requirements and/or technologies in our activities
- Coordinate and validate transaction settlements by collaborating with our partners
- Participate in test analysis to ensure efficient delivery of the different projects
- Develop and produce multiple reports for different partners
- Update and optimize our current procedures in place
Your team
As part of the Capital Market Operations sector, you’ll join a team of 15 colleagues that stands out for its expertise of OTC products, for its employees’ engagement and passion and by its contribution to the profitability of the capital markets.
You will be on the front line to support our traders, offering them quality support by constantly bringing in new ideas, by automating existing procedures and suggesting new training methods in your team. You will be the guardian, with your team, of our processes that are constantly evolving with new business opportunities and major initiatives.

Prerequisites
- Completed bachelor's degree related to the industry, or any relevant experience OR any other combination of education and experience considered equivalent
- Experience in Capital Market Operations
- Knowledge of different systems (Murex, Swift, ISM, Bloomberg or Reuters)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft and Excel software (VBA, Macros, pivot tables, dynamic tables, etc.)
- Good knowledge of derivative products in general and/or securities lending
- Experience in resolving issues on complex financial transactions
- Must have the capacity to work under pressure, versatility, resourcefulness, proactive and curious
Languages:
English, French
