Canada Games: Québec, 2027
The Canada Games are the country’s largest multi-sport competition. They will bring together over 3,500 high-caliber athletes and coaches to Quebec City across 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, they celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.
The winter edition of the 2027 Canada Games will take place in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027.
Your Role
Do you want to help create an unforgettable experience for delegations from across the country? As the Coordinator, Mission Services, you will be the key point of contact for the participating teams of the 2027 Canada Games. At the forefront of the organization, you will serve as the liaison between the Host Society and the provincial and territorial missions. You will ensure that any questions or concerns are directed to the appropriate areas of the organization to be addressed and resolved.

Reporting to the Director, Athlete Services, your talent and energy will allow you to:
- Work directly with the chefs de mission and staff from each province and territory to meet the needs of all athletes, coaches, and managers.
- Participate in the development of policies and standards related to Mission Services.
- Act as a liaison between the mission staff and the Host Society.
- Support the organization of pre-Games meetings and familiarization visits with the missions.
- Actively contribute to the planning and delivery of the Chef de Mission conferences, daily meetings during the Games, preparatory visits, and pre-Games virtual meetings.
- Support the optimal operation of the Mission Centre, ensuring it is well-equipped, stocked, and welcoming throughout the Games.
- Plan and lead the monthly Mission Services Committee meetings leading up to the Games.
- During the Games, coordinate the operations and logistical needs of the Mission Centre.
- Train and support volunteers assigned to Mission Services and the Mission Secretariat to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
- Collaborate with related sectors (Services, Protocol, Sport Operations, etc.) to deliver a seamless and professional experience.
- Apply your talent to challenges that emerge along the way.
Keys to success
Want to join our team? Here's what it takes:
- College or technical diploma in recreation, project management, sport management, event planning or a related field. A university degree is considered an asset.
- 3 years of experience in project or event management.
- Excellent command of both French and English, spoken and written.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Based in the Quebec City region or ready to relocate to be part of the adventure.
- Criminal background check required.
- Authorization to work in Canada.
