Canada Games - Québec, 2027

The largest multi-sport competition in the country, the Canada Games bring together over 3,000 high calibre athletes and coaches in more than twenty disciplines. Alternating between summer and winter, every two years, they showcase the immense talent and perseverance of our champions. The winter edition of the Canada Games will take place in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027.

Your Role

Ready to be part of history? The 2027 Canada Games are looking for a talented Talent Acquisition & Integration coordinator to help build the team that will make Québec shine. In this key role, you will be responsible for the entire recruitment cycle, from attraction strategies to onboarding, while ensuring accuracy and rigor in all related HR administration through our HRIS.

You will also play an active role in advancing our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) through targeted recruitment efforts with community partners.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment (Full Cycle)

  • Manage the entire recruitment process (needs analysis, job posting, pre-screening, interviews, reference checks, offer preparation).
  • Implement targeted outreach strategies to engage a diverse pool of candidates (underrepresented groups, youth, retirees, etc.).
  • Work closely with managers to define desired candidate profiles, craft engaging job postings, and provide proactive support throughout each stage of the recruitment process.
  • Plan and coordinate a high volume of simultaneous recruitment activities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ensure optimal use of our ATS and HRIS (Folks), as well as our project management tools (Wrike).
  • Represent the organization at recruitment events (job fairs, presentations, webinars) and serve as a proud ambassador for the Games.
  • Develop partnerships and deliver targeted presentations to community organizations to promote employment opportunities to underrepresented groups.
     

Talent Integration

  • Support and assist managers in the planning and delivery of onboarding experiences for new team members.
  • Contribute to the creation, facilitation, and ongoing improvement of onboarding tools and activities (welcome guides, personalized onboarding journeys, post-onboarding follow-ups, orientation sessions, welcome events).
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for new team members throughout their onboarding period.
     

HR Administration & Employee Records Management

  • Manage all post-hire administrative follow-ups and ensure accuracy, rigor, and confidentiality of employee records in the HRIS.
  • Keep HR data up to date and organized in compliance with governance best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, tools, and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, labor standards, and best practices in human resources management.
  • Help foster an inclusive, engaging, and positive organizational culture.
     
  • Provide agile support to other HR initiatives as needed, including training, health and safety, performance management, employee engagement, recognition, and skills development.
     

Keys to success

Want to join our team? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • College or university degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in recruitment, including managing multiple simultaneous recruitment processes.
  • Experience supporting and advising managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and ATS systems.
  • Comfort with digital tools and project/task management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and spoken French; functional English.
  • Experience in an event or sports-related environment is an asset.
  • Criminal background check required.
  • Authorization to work in Canada.
