About the 2027 Canada Games

The Canada Games are the country’s largest multi-sport competition. They will bring together over 3,500 high-caliber athletes and coaches to Quebec City across 22 sports. Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, they celebrate the perseverance and sportsmanship of young Canadian athletes.

The winter edition of the 2027 Canada Games will take place in Quebec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027.

Your Role

Ready to be part of history?

Your responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and effectively execute all activities related to warehousing, including inventory control, receiving procedures, storage space layout, as well as delivery and shipping management.
  • Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures to support operations in a structured and efficient manner.
  • Establish a workplace health and safety program at the warehouse (CNESST).
  • Collaborate in the development of integrated logistics processes that foster coordination and synergy between the organization’s various teams, before and during the 2027 Canada Games.
  • Design, update, and ensure the execution of the master delivery schedule, making sure all equipment and materials are delivered safely and on time to all Canada Games sites.
  • Actively participate in the planning and execution of the asset liquidation process following the Games.
  • Supervise, train, and support volunteers and temporary staff assigned to logistics operations.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and maintain respectful and positive professional relationships within the team.
  • Act in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the 2027 Canada Winter Games.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required by the organization’s operational needs
 

Keys to success

Want to join our team? Here's what it takes:

  • College or technical diploma in Supply Chain Management or any other related field
  • Diploma or training in warehouse and transportation management
  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Experience in volunteer management and/or team management
  • Experience with equipment and material reservation software
  • Fluent in French (written and spoken); working knowledge of English
  • Basic repair skills (an asset)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Class 3 driver’s license (an asset)
  • Criminal background check required
  • Authorization to work in Canada

  • Strong ability to build and maintain solid professional relationships with various partners at both local and national levels
  • Experience with Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Docs, Slides, Calendar, etc.) (an asset)
  • Versatile and ready to move at the Games' pace, even outside office hours
  • Based in the Quebec City region or ready to relocate to be part of the adventure
