We are currently looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing organization.

Responsibilities

Order processing and documentation

  • Print and verify delivery notes for outbound shipments; ensure accurate shipping dates.
  • Communicate with the shipping and warehouse team to initiate and finalize order processing.
  • Coordinate quotes for palletized and parcel shipments and collaborate with the project department to select the carrier.
  • Prepare and reviewcustoms documentation for shipments to the United States, including invoices and item specifications.
  • Ensure shipping schedules meet daily targets.
  • Coordinate distribution projects by estimating pallet and parcel dimensions
  • Process EDI documentation, coordinate the creation of shipping labels, and ensure accurate labeling.
Billing and cost allocation
  • Finalize shipped orders by updating quantities, adding shipping costs, and verifying tracking numbers.
  • Manage exceptions where inventory issues prevent order fulfillment, collaborating with Inventory Control to resolve discrepancies.
Coordination of inventory and transfers
  • Manage inter-warehouse transfers, schedule drivers, and update ERP systems for inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate supplier deliveries and collections, organize transportation, and verify purchase order receipts.
Container management
  • Oversee container logistics, ensuring their availability for loading/unloading and tracking inventory in transit.
  • Maintain documentation for inbound and outbound containers, including international shipments.
Profil
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of shipping and logistics processes, including modes of transportation, customs regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams, external vendors and clients.
  • Proficiency in the use of logistics software and systems for tracking, reporting and managing shipments
  • Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions in a constantly changing environment
