Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, strategic, and people-first HR Business Partner to drive HR excellence across our organization. This role goes beyond traditional HR: you will lead recruitment, coaching, payroll, benefits, and health & safety, while helping modernize our processes through AI, automation, and smarter workflows.

You’ll be a trusted partner to leadership and a driver of both people strategy and operational transformation as we continue to grow.

  • Coach and mentor managers, particularly new people leaders

HR Strategy, Culture & Transformation

  • Align HR initiatives with business goals
  • Promote a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Support succession planning and organizational development
  • Lead change management initiatives tied to growth, structure, and processes

AI & Process Transformation (Core Focus)

  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation across HR workflows
  • Implement tools to reduce manual work and improve data visibility
  • Introduce AI-enabled decision-making (hiring, workforce analytics, performance tracking)
  • Build and scale AI-driven recruiting and HR processes
  • Advocate for tech-enabled ways of working and drive adoption
  • Collaborate with IT and external partners to implement new solutions

HR Operations

  • Manage payroll and benefits administration
  • Maintain employee records, compliance, and documentation
  • Administer policies and programs reflecting legal requirements and best practices

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Oversee workplace health and safety initiatives and compliance (WSIB, OSHA, CNESST)
  • Coordinate safety training and incident reporting
  • Serve as primary contact for workplace injuries and claims management

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, production, or construction
  • Strong experience in recruitment, coaching, and HR program development
  • Interest or experience in AI, automation, or process transformation
  • Solid knowledge of employment laws, payroll systems, and health & safety regulations
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
