WHAT WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?    

  • Analysis and Calculations : Immerse yourself in drawings, plans and specifications to perform accurate structural analyses and submit recommendations essential to the success of our projects.
  • Compliance and Standards : Ensure that each project is in full compliance with the various building standards and codes by thoroughly analyzing preliminary plans and concepts.
  • Strategic Recommendations : Perform structural calculations for current or upcoming projects and provide key recommendations to our technical leads
  • Design and Modeling : Take the lead in design, evaluation and feasibility studies, including detailed modelling for certain projects.
  • Collaboration and Synergy : Work hand in hand with technical coordinators, project managers and the estimating department to ensure the fluidity and success of our operations.

YOU BRING WITH YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or other training deemed equivalent  
  • Specialization in Structure
  • Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • Relevant experience in building structure/structural design
  • Mastery of the various structural engineering norms and standards, including the National Building Code 
  • Knowledge with CAD and the various structural analysis software: ADA, SG Méplat
