Purpose of the Position

Reporting to the Vice President, Customer Support, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the efficient coordination of commercial and administrative activities. This includes managing quotations, customer orders, and administrative follow-ups in order to deliver a high level of customer service and ensure smooth execution of internal processes. The role serves as a central point of contact between customers, sales representatives, and internal operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire quotation process for commercial customers, including information gathering, document preparation, and timely submission;
  • Follow up on submitted quotations, proactively contact customers when required, and record responses in internal systems;
  • Maintain up-to-date customer databases, price lists, and contractual terms;
  • Coordinate customer orders: receive, validate, enter into the ERP system, monitor lead times, and communicate order status;
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure feasibility and compliance with commitments made to customers;
  • Participate in resolving discrepancies or issues related to orders (delivery delays, quantities, billing errors, etc.);
  • Prepare periodic sales performance reports and contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes;
  • Train and mentor more junior team members as needed;
  • Promote a customer-service culture focused on quality and efficiency;
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Employment Requirements Education

  • College diploma (DEC) in Business Administration or any other relevant field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word);
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (an asset);
  • Experience with EPICOR software (an asset);
  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle and supply chain;
  • Experience in manufacturing and/or aerospace (an asset);
  • Knowledge of MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) and the military sector (an asset);
  • Excellent command of French (spoken and written) and advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written), required to communicate regularly with customers and suppliers outside Québec.

Personal Skills

  • Strong attention to detail, rigor, and organizational skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment;
  • Autonomy, initiative, and the ability to collaborate across functions.
